This course provides hands-on training on interfacing various sensors and actuators with the nRF52832 development board using the Zephyr RTOS. Participants will learn to integrate sensors such as SHT40, STS30, STS751 (temperature & humidity), LIS3DH (accelerometer), and CO₂ sensors, along with peripherals like buzzers, relays, and LEDs. The course emphasizes real-time data acquisition, processing, and control using I2C, SPI, and GPIO interfaces. Students will also configure BLE communication to send sensor data to a centralized gateway. The gateway further transmits the data securely to the cloud for remote monitoring. Practical sessions focus on low-power design, sensor fusion, and system optimization. By the end of the course, learners will be able to develop a complete end-to-end IoT monitoring system using Nordic hardware.
